For those with an interest in photographing ospreys and access to a boat, there are still active nests on just about every channel marker between Naples and Marco Island. By 7:30 am today I’d already seen several feeding freshly caught fish to the hatchlings.  For lighting, the best time will be from mid morning til dark and weekdays will offer calmer conditions due to reduced boat traffic. Watch your shutter speed as the boat & the birds may be moving and keep at a non threatening distance.   Gordon.
