On Meeting The Bird Photographer…
Ever meet someone who is the best of the best in their field? Last weekend I got to do so while attending the Florida Camera Club Council’s convention where I was honored to give 2 presentations on composition, lighting and color on behalf of the DPI-Sig camera club here in Naples. Who was I privileged to meet? None other than Artie Morris!

For regular readers of my posts especially those with an interest in nature photography, Artie’s site is well worth a visit too. You’ll find everything from extremely helpful info, books, CDs, photo critiques, good shopping & lots more.
Later on at the convention, his interesting and at times moving keynote address covered everything from the photography he’s so known for intertwined with both the ups and downs that mark his life experience. So this weekend’s photography tip? Get out there and mingle with other photographers, you never know who you’ll meet or what you’ll come away with.
